Diversey Care’s president Dr Ilham Kadri has been confirmed as keynote speaker at the landmark 10th edition of Africa’s professional cleaning and hygiene exhibition, CleantexPulire 2015.
The keynote address ‘will kick off a highly knowledgeable and stimulating seminar program aimed at addressing various topical issues, trends and new developments within the professional cleaning industry,’ notes the organiser.
The seminar will be held during the CleantexPulire exhibition at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand (Johannesburg), from 28 to 30 July 2015.
In her role leading the US$2.2 billion Diversey Care business, Dr Kadri is responsible for driving the business development and profitability of the division, overseeing innovation, pipeline design and developing value propositions with a strong sustainability focus.
During her 20 years experience, Dr Kadri has held a variety of global roles in business leadership; strategic planning; sales; marketing; product management; mergers and acquisitions; and research and development in public and private companies such as Shell Chemicals-Basell, UCB-Cytec, Huntsman, and Rohm Haas-Dow.
She qualified as a chemical engineer, has a master’s degree in physics and chemistry and holds a doctorate in Polymers/ Reactive Extrusion.
Dr Kadri is committed to mentoring young women and promoting female leadership in the field of science, engineering and business. She created WIN chapters at Dow Chemicals and Diversey Care and is an executive sponsor of Sealed Air’s corporate WIN. She founded “The Hygieia Network TM” in 2014, with other women leaders to combat illiteracy and to foster a curriculum and job prestige in the cleaning industry.
CleantexPulire is an all encompassing three day highly specialised trade exhibition focusing on the latest in cleaning technology, industrial cleaning, hygiene solutions, laundry solutions, sanitation and professional cleaning, pest management, waste management, environment management and washroom hygiene management.
