Conquest has announced the acquisition of EcoPower, a specialist electric utility vehicle business formerly owned by Abco, marking a significant step forward in the company’s push to deliver broader, more adaptable transport solutions for operators managing large and complex facilities.
The move substantially expands Conquest’s electric utility vehicle offering, complementing its existing Super Duty UTV range with a suite of purpose-built electric transport options spanning people movers, laundry carts, accessible carts, resort carts, cleaners’ carts and golf carts. For facility managers juggling diverse operational demands across sprawling sites, the expanded catalogue means greater ability to match the right vehicle to the right task without compromise.
More choice for complex sites
Conquest Managing Director Michael Mathews says the acquisition is a direct response to the realities facing customers who manage large, multi-use environments. “Our customers are managing large, diverse sites where a single vehicle solution doesn’t suit every task,” said Mathews. “The addition of EcoPower gives customers more choice, from commercial and industrial applications through to more bespoke transport solutions, while continuing to work with a partner focused on reliability, service and long-term support.”
The breadth of the EcoPower range allows organisations to select vehicles aligned to specific operational tasks, site layouts and budget requirements, a practical consideration for facility and cleaning managers who must balance performance with procurement realities.

For Abco, the transaction represents a considered handover to an organisation well-placed to grow the EcoPower brand. “EcoPower has built a strong position in electric transport solutions, and this transition allows the business to continue to grow with an organisation that shares our values,” said Abco CEO Nick Dileo. Abco will continue as a distributor of the EcoPower range, ensuring continuity of supply for existing customers.
The EcoPower range will be available Australia-wide, supported by Conquest’s established national service and support network, an important consideration for operators who depend on minimal downtime to keep their facilities running smoothly.
