New formula Spruce all-purpose cleaner effectively removes everyday soils from all washable surfaces. Spruce is neutral, environmentally responsible and low-allergenic.

Exhaustive testing of various highly biodegradable naturally-derived surfactants by Agar Cleaning Systems has yielded an exceptional blend which rapidly attacks dirt, animal fats and mineral oils. This provides the basis of Agar’s new formula Spruce all-purpose cleaner.

Spruce was originally developed as a mild all-purpose cleaner with exceptional environmental credentials, and it is now even more effective on a wider range of soil, whilst still very safe to use.

Spruce effectively removes typical soils and spillages including foodstuffs, drinks, fats and general traffic dirt, from all types of floors, walls, windows, paintwork, laminates and other washable surfaces. It can even be used for cleaning toilets and showers! Being neutral, Spruce is ideal for alkali-sensitive flooring materials like timber, terrazzo and marble.

Spruce can be used for a range of daily cleaning tasks, replacing a number of products to simplifying chemical inventory management.

The environmental benefits of Spruce have been independently endorsed with the product awarded a GECA license. The ingredients in Spruce have been selected to ensure it’s highly biodegradable, phosphate-free, pH-neutral, non-flammable and hypo-allergenic. Spruce contains surfactants derived from natural, re-growable resources (such as coconut oil, starch and sugar) together with sodium citrate (formed from natural citric acid and baking soda). It uses food-grade, edible red dye, and has no perfumes, no volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), and no toxic, harmful or ecologically-suspect ingredients.
Spruce is concentrated for cost-effective cleaning and reduced transportation, and so that it can be diluted to suit different cleaning applications.
