The awards have been designed to provide opportunities for businesses of all sizes. They are open to BSC members and the aim is to promote excellence and recognise the dedication, skills and hard work of the New Zealand building services industry.
“These are the first building services industry awards to be held in New Zealand for seven years so it will be very exciting to see the entry process underway,” said BSCNZ’s newly-appointed chief executive Lillian Small.
“All entries must reach us by Friday 14 March but we would encourage companies to start the process as soon as possible.”
Major sponsor is Staples New Zealand and key business sponsors also include Diversey Care, INCLEAN, Kimberly-Clark Professional and Lynn River.
The awards include categories for offices, healthcare, education, retail (including hospitality and leisure) and industrial spaces.
Individual awards will also be made for business excellence and business innovation. The BSC New Entrant Achiever Award will recognise the skills of high-achieving newcomers to the industry.
Finalist judging will be in early May and winners will be announced at the Staples New Zealand Clean Sweep Awards Dinner to be held at CleanNZ at Ellerslie Event Centre, Auckland, on 29 May 2014.
Regular Clean Sweep Bulletin updates will be provided throughout the build-up to the awards presentation.
All entry criteria will be available at www.bsc.org.nz from February 3 and entry forms can be downloaded from the website and entries submitted online or by post.
