CCW acquires Queensland supplier

The takeover will see CCW expand to stock almost 8000 products.

National carpet cleaning supplier Carpet Cleaners Warehouse (CCW) has acquired Queensland-based PowerClean Industries.

The takeover will see CCW expand to stock almost 8000 products and serve more than 5000 organisations across the country.

CCW CEO Toby Bredhauer said the move reflects the company’s continued commitment to providing the best for its customers.
“From our single operators to multi-national businesses, will be able to source the right product, technical support and advice to supercharge performance and keep returning dividends.”
The combined company will continue to work with its long-standing partners Hydramaster, Dri-Eaz, Sapphire Scientific and Bridgepoint but will also explore greenfield sectors, such as air conditioning cleaning and decontamination.

PowerClean owners Wayne and Corallea Edwards will join the CCW team as managers of the Sydney branch, which will be re-launched to include a comprehensive service centre for all truck mount, portable and restoration equipment brands.

“We are excited to have Wayne and Corallea on board and look forward to sharing their drive and passion with our customers,” said Bredhauer.

PowerClean CEO Wayne Edwards said: “We are proud of the reputation Power Clean has built for high-quality service and as a trusted supplier of industry-leading brands such as Sapphire Scientific, Mytee Products, Goodway Technologies and Releasit.

“Through combining our skills and expertise we feel confident we cam and will deliver the best results for CCW customers.”

The acquisition is expected to be finalised by September.
