This year, the National Cleaning Suppliers Association (NCSA) changed the best stand criteria and enlisted the help of an independent judging panel to select winners for the three categories – highly commended, runner up and best stand overall. The winners were announced at the Legends of Cleaning gala dinner on 3 September where Tennant Company’s stand was highly commended, Newell Rubbermaid received runner up and the best stand accolade was awarded to Caprice Paper.

Accepted by Caprice Paper’s Jon Canestra, he said the award was a great honour; “We put a lot into our stand this year as we thought it was a show worthy of the effort so we are extremely happy and proud to receive this award because we know it paid off,” he said.

The exhibition reflected international product trends and innovation with some of the latest products in the Australian market. CleanTelligent, for example, showcased its automative software dedicated to empowering BSCs and facility managers. As for machinery, Tennant Company had its B5 and B7 battery burnishers on display, featuring HEPA dust control filtration and easy-to-use design. Sustainability is another industry trend that was well represented by Tersano Australia with its aqueous ozone ‘green cleaner’ – the chemical free Tersano Lotus Pro.

As well as the exhibition, CleanScene offered a seminar program as well as in industry dinner, being the Legends of Cleaning themed evening.
