The 2017 BSCAA Victoria AustralianSuper Cleaning Industry Excellence Awards were held on Friday 27 October 2017, and attended by more than 175 people from BSCAA members, suppliers, sponsors and nominees.
This year there were 61 finalists covering 14 categories, plus four Special Recognition Industry Excellence Awards, which recognise outstanding achievement by an individual who has given more than 30 years’ service to the cleaning industry.
Major award winners of the night included GJK Facility Services, ARA Property Services/CMC and The Bendigo Cleaning Company. The highly coveted Overall Winner for Outstanding Achievement as a Cleaner was awarded to Galina Tobolov from Danihers Facility Management. The Bendigo Cleaning Company’s Julie Garner and Tamara Taylor were awarded Manager of the Year and Young Manager of the Year respectively.
