‘Changing perceptions in the cleaning industry’ will be the focus of this year’s British Cleaning Council’s (BCC) annual conference, which will take place in London on Thursday 6th November 2014.

Key speakers include Mitie chief executive officer Ruby McGregor-Smith and Easyjet’s former sales and marketing director Tony Anderson.

Other conference highlights will include tips on effective networking by business development coach Peter Spalton, and presentations on technology and using social media for business.

The popular panel Q & A is back again, with delegates invited to put questions to experts from the cleaning industry. BCC chairman Doug Cooke and The Building Futures Group chief executive officer Sarah Bentley are just two of the guests who will be facing questions this year.

The event’s lead sponsor is Kimberly Clark Professional with South Thames College, Reintec, Equality and Human Rights, The Building Futures Group and NSL providing additional sponsorship.

“This year’s BCC conference has been planned well in advance with the view to challenge the cleaning industry by our theme Changing Perceptions,” explained Cooke.

“An excellent range of thought provoking speakers are booked who will encourage audience participation. This will be our best conference by far, I and many industry leaders are really looking forward to it,” he added.
