Lisa Macqueen, CEO and co-founder of Sydney-based commercial cleaning contractor Cleancorp, will speak at Contracting Success 2026 in Las Vegas this November, one of a small number of Australian voices on the program at the global cleaning industry’s largest executive gathering.
The event, hosted by the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI), runs from 16-19 November at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. It is co-located this year with the World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) Global Executive Congress, and more than 700 delegates are expected.
Macqueen’s session, ‘From Boring to 8-Figures’, is scheduled for Tuesday 17 November. It covers generating additional revenue quickly, applying AI inside a cleaning operation, client retention and pricing contracts correctly.
“The reality is that people find our industry boring,” says Macqueen. She credits her lack of industry background as an advantage on entering the sector. “I think not knowing was actually a huge advantage,” she says.
Macqueen lauds the quality and breadth of the local industry. “Australian contractors are doing work that stands up anywhere in the world, and we don’t say that loudly enough,” she adds. “Being on that stage is less about Cleancorp and more about making sure the Australian industry is part of the global conversation.”
Also speaking at Contracting Success 2026 are Peter Diamandis, founder and executive chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation, and Claire Williams, former deputy team principal of Williams Racing.
