New Zealand cleaning contractors, suppliers, distributors and members of the Building Service Contractors Association of New Zealand (BSCNZ) rubbed shoulders with the publishing team behind the newly launched INCLEAN New Zealand magazine. The positive feedback was overwhelming with the NZ cleaning industry ready to embrace and support a magazine which represents a voice of its own.

Sponsored by ISS Facility Services, the INCLEAN New Zealand launch was held on Wednesday 17 June at ASB Showgrounds – also the new venue for the CLEAN NZ Expo in 2016 – with more than 70 cleaning industry executives in attendance. The relaxed atmosphere offered a chance for people to network amongst industry peers and to meet the team behind the NZ industry magazine and organisers of the successful CLEAN NZ event.

INCLEAN New Zealand’s consulting editor Alan Hardcastle and editor Kim Taranto were keen to mingle with the magazine readers – not only to put a face to a name – but to also gather feedback in order to refine the magazine’s content mix between editorial content, advertising, and product news.

Hardcastle took to the podium to reiterate this and how INCLEAN New Zealand is of benefit to the industry. “New Zealand warrants, commercially, and deserves the INCLEAN New Zealand magazine. The NZ industry is vital, active and reflects international trends on both the product-supply side and services side,” he stated.

“It [INCLEAN New Zealand] offers unparalleled circulation and readership levels. When compared with all other countries’ B2B cleaning industry magazines, INCLEAN New Zealand – a 3,000 print run and more than 10,000 readers per issue – has by far the highest per capita readership of any in the world.

“Its editorial content is 80 percent New Zealand and 20 percent international,” continued Hardcastle. “The magazine has writers based in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and our first May issue reflects this investment.

“Quality content and unsurpassed readership reach means INCLEAN New Zealand is an ideal marketing and communication vehicle for all stakeholders. It reaches contractor/BSC customers and clients in substantial numbers; it reaches product manufacturers end-user buyers (BSCs etc); and it saturates the distribution channel. INCLEAN New Zealand can be the voice of the industry,” Hardcastle concluded.

BSCNZ CEO, Lillian Small, echoed Hardcastle’s sentiment stating that the magazine has the industry Association’s full support. “The BSCNZ is proud to be working with Simon [Cooper, publisher of INCLEAN New Zealand] and his team for both the CLEAN NZ show and the launch of the INCLEAN New Zealand magazine,” she shared. “INCLEAN has been the leading cleaning industry magazine in NZ and Australia for more than 27 years and the BSCNZ has been involved for 25 of those years.

“The launch of the INCLEAN New Zealand magazine solidifies the growth of the New Zealand cleaning industry and to have a professional media platform like INCLEAN profiling our industry in a positive way is fantastic,” Small exclaimed. “I encourage you all to share your success stories to help raise the professional profile of our industry as a whole.”

INCLEAN New Zealand magazine will partner with the BSCNZ to support the next INCLEAN NZ expo, to be held in May 2016 at the ASB Showgrounds.
