Kennards Hire pops up in Heatherbrae

The pop up branch is the second of its kind in the Kennards’ network.

Family-owned and operated equipment hire company, Kennards Hire has opened a pop-up branch in Heatherbrae NSW.

Heatherbrae is Kennards Hire’s 53rd branch in NSW and the 180th branch across the entire network.

Located on the Pacific Highway, it’s the second branch of its kind to be fully operational in the network. The first is located in Hornby, New Zealand.

Heatherbrae is a first for both the business and the Australian hire industry, being made from 20-foot custom designed shipping containers that are self-contained, transportable and easy to commission. The portable modules include a service bay, fully equipped plant room, equipment storage, a modular wash bay, customer area and shade igloo.

Heatherbrae is the forth branch in the Kennards Hire network to open in the greater Newcastle and lower Hunter Valley area. It offers an extensive range of equipment suited to support the local government depots, as well as trade professionals and weekend DIYers.

Branch manager Darren Pring said he is excited to be working with the new innovation in the hire industry.

“The pop-up location at Heatherbrae represents true innovation from Kennards Hire,” he said. “It’s great to work for a company that sees opportunity and is prepared to act on it.

“To watch the branch come together according to plan was awesome to see. We’ve got some pretty talented people in our business and they put together our new branch like it was Lego.”

Supporting Pring will be Paul Gill as duty manager and Bryan Gray as serviceperson driver.
