ISS becomes a registered training organisation

ISS to commence national Certificate III qualifications in cleaning operations following certification.

ISS Facility Services has been approved by national training regulator Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) as a registered training organisation (RTO).

ISS said as a registered RTO ISS can commence delivering national Certificate III qualifications in cleaning operations to staff.

“The ISS RTO journey began 12 months ago in response to legislation changes within our aviation and transport division, which required a solution to meet the demands of new specialised training being introduced by the National Aviation Regulator from February 2020,” the company said in a statement.

Scott Erwin, director of people and culture ISS Australia and RTO CEO, said the certification is a significant investment by ISS for building the skills and capabilities of its people and providing them recognition of their skills with a national qualification.

“ISS will continue developing and promoting our RTO capability and solutions, supporting the development of our people within the business.”

Stuart Blair, ISS RTO manager, will lead the day-to-day operations.
