The finalists have been announced for the upcoming INCLEAN Innovation Awards, with the winners to be presented at the inaugural ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo on Tuesday, 9 May.
This year’s awards received a record amount of entries across five categories: Equipment, Cleaning Agents, Services & Technology, Janitorial Items and Paper & Dispensing.
This year’s judging panel includes George Stamas, national president of the BSCAA; Mark Helps, cleaning industry consultant at Consultancy Helps and Claire Hibbit, editor of INCLEAN.
“The cleaning industry has been continually redefining itself for many years and innovation, sustainability and productivity have been at the core. The Expo showcases many advancements in these area,” George Stamas said.
Commenting on the awards, judge Mark Helps said: “I am really looking forward to this year’s Expo. Having been involved in this industry for 40 years I have witnessed a lot of changes, but the last few years have seen so much innovation and improvement in machinery, chemicals, products and techniques, it fills me with great optimism and enthusiasm for the future of our industry.”
INCLEAN editor Claire Hibbit said: “We had a record number of entries for the awards this year which is a testament to the innovation and investment taking place locally in Australia – and there’s still much more to see at the Expo!”
Winners will be announced on the show floor following the first day (Tuesday 9 May) of the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, by the judging panel.
