Diversey has secured the extension of a sole supplier agreement with AccorHotels until 31 December 2019.
The contract covers the supply of cleaning solutions, as well as the company’s range of TASKI floor care machines. AccorHotels will also receive support from Diversey’s consulting team, with solutions for food safety and brand protection.
Diversey CEO Ilham Kadri said securing a deal with such a large and ambitious operator, in the face of intense competition, is a fantastic achievement for Diversey.
“During the process of renewing the contract – which was first awarded in 2009 – AccorHotels has again recognised our key company values like quality, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, global scale, technical service, lowest cost to serve and innovation capabilities,” said Kadri.
Clément Divanach, directeur International des Achats d’Exploitation, for AccorHotels said Diversey is a true partner to AccorHotels.
“In addition to their market-leading products and systems, we welcome and value the service and expertise that Diversey provides to our hotels around the world,” said Divanach. “This will become even more important with the separation of AccorHotels Services and AccorHotels Invest., as this will result in a change from an owned to managed hotels business model.”
AccorHotels is the sixth largest hotel chain in the world, with 20 brands ranging from luxury to economy properties including Raffles, Sofitel, Fairmont, Pullman, Swissotel, Novotel, Mercure and Ibis.
In total, AccorHotels operates more than 4200 hotels in 95 countries, staffed by more than 250,000 hospitality experts.
