CMC Indigenous Services managing director Michael O’Loughlin said the merger will increase CMC’s capability and service offering.

“We have spent the past few years strategically expanding our business model and the services that we offer, in-line with market trends,” he said.

“We believe we have taken our business model as far as we can and now is the time to partner with a company such as ARA to take us to the next stage.”

CMC Indigenous Services will be a part of the ARA Group’s cleaning and property maintenance division.

“We have found great synergies with ARA that will allow us to further grow our capability, scale and service offering to our clients. Through ARA’s extensive specialist divisions; ARA Fire, ARA Mechanical, ARA Electrical, ARA Security, ARA Building and ARA Products, we will now be able to offer our clients more. We are excited about joining the team at ARA Group and about what we can achieve together”.

Michael O’Loughlin remains CMC Indigenous Services’ managing director and 51 per cent owner. The ARA Group owns 41 per cent of CMC Indigenous Services.
