Abco Products has acquired Brisbane-based commercial cleaning equipment and machine supplier Alphaclean.
Abco Products founder and managing director James Bagshaw says the acquisition is part of the company’s national distribution strategy.
[quote]“Instead of fighting each other for market share we decided to join forces and strengthen our service offering,” said Bagshaw. “Alphaclean was also our main reseller in Queensland so the merger was a natural fit from that perspective.”[/quote]
The acquisition will be officially completed on Wednesday 1 November 2017. Alphaclean will be rebranded to Abco Products and is set to move to a bigger premise in Hemmant, Queensland.
Abco Products has also announced that it will be opening up a Victorian branch in Keilor Park in October this year to cater to the demands of the company’s national BSC clients.

With the establishment of a Queensland and Victorian branch, Abco is recruiting more industry experts to develop its internal capabilities. Ryan Pogue is joining the Victorian branch to head up the national service division of the company.
“We hired Ryan Pogue to drive our cleaning equipment servicing program forward for our clients,” said Bagshaw. “Ryan is an expert in this field and we are thrilled to have him on board to assist us to get this program right.”
Originally founded in Perth in 1998, Abco Products is now operating in NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
The expansion announcements come just after the company went through a branding and website redesign in August 2017.
